G’day ladies and gentlemen. Rodney Holder here, and thanks so much for joining me on my music industry podcast- Music Business Facts.
This is the first episode release for 2017 so I really hope your year is going well so far.
I’ve actually decided to scale back on the podcast releases. I’m not stopping the podcast but I’m definitely scaling it back since I’m currently doing a lot more online live music business training and webinars, online courses and mastermind groups; that’s actually what I’ve been organising the first few months of this year.
So, getting right into it I’d like to invite you to some awesome FREE training, it’s my upcoming online music business summit.
Some of you may remember last year I ran an online summit and that was received really well. Now I’m getting set to do it all again this coming April 3rd through to April 13th. I’ve got a slew of awesome guests that will be speaking live to you on a variety of topics.
Now just to let you know, I’ll be speaking a few times on topics like sponsorship and endorsements, copyright and music publishing; I’ve got the amazingly talented Devin Townsend delivering his awesome presentation on song writing and creativity; Devin’s manager Andy Farrow will be lecturing on How To Book an International Tour; singer song writer Josh Pyke will lecture on how to nurture a music career; I’ve got super manager Gregg Donovan who manages a slew of great acts lecturing on Successful self management strategies; Rod Yates from Rolling Stone magazine- so many cool people giving up their time to give value to you people. So yes like I said, all 100% Free and you can register at www.musicbusinessfacts.com/summit, or if you’re already on my mailing list then you’ll be hearing from me about all the lectures and speakers.
Okay, now for today’s interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, I feel very privileged to have been able to speak with Mr. Jaddan Comerford who is the founder and CEO of Unified– a music company that provides a range of services including management, label, publishing, touring, festivals and merchandise to a diverse roster of internationally recognised and awarded artists.
Now Jaddan is a serious global player in the music business, and I was honoured that he’d give up a small portion of his extremely busy life to talk with me. Jaddan really doesn’t do too many interviews either so again, I feel really lucky to have been able to talk with Jaddan- and off the record I asked him why he chose to speak with me and he told me that some people who work for him recommended that this was a great podcast so, for any of you Unified employees listening in, thanks for the shout out to your boss. And Jaddan if you ever listen to this podcast- I really appreciated your time.
Anyhow, I do hold Jaddan in high regard. As I mention in the interview I get to meet so many aspiring music business wanna-be’s, particularly in the Australian heavy music scene, and very few are able to go on with a career, let alone start up an enormously successful company that services most facets of the music business.
So anyhow, without further delay here’s my interview with Jaddan Comerford from Unified. Please enjoy.
Ladies and gentlemen, Jaddan Comerford.
A seemingly wonderful guy and an exceptionally successful music businessman.
Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed the interview. As always I love hearing from you people so if you’d like to ever reach out you can email me at Rodney@musicbusinessfacts.com or I’m on FB at facebook.com/musicbusinessfacts

Once again I’d like to remind you about my music business online summit coming up which you should register for at www.musicbusinessfacts.com/summit
And I’ve also got an amazing live event coming up in May here in Brisbane Australia where I’ll be hosting a live music business conference where some of my speakers include Devin Townsend, his manager Andy Farrow, as well as Graham Nixon who manages Parkway Drive and a host of other cool speakers.
So stay tuned for that!
Until we speak next, I’d like to leave you with this parting quote from William Longgood:
Dreams and dedication are a powerful combination.
Until next time, this is Rodney Holder signing off for musicbusinessfacts.com
